Touch of Our Savior's Hand ~ July 10th

Well, I am back from conference and ready to re-enter life as usual as well as blogland. I spent the last 3 days in Malvern, Pennsylvania at the Rachel's Vineyard International Leadership Conference. It was there that I experienced my God Moment for this week.
I have to be honest I was not exactly looking forward to attending the conference. Three days with over 100 people, most of which I barely know, is a little out of my comfort zone. I don't exactly consider myself a people person. However, my dear friend who runs the retreats for our archdiocese asked me to attend and also help her present one of her workshops, so I agreed to go.
I prayed before leaving on Tuesday that God would grant me the grace of an open mind and heart because I knew that He must have had a reason for me being there. As usual, our great God never disappoints.
In addition to meeting some wonderful new people, I was led to attend some beautiful workshops. One on Mother Teresa and how she and her work relate to our own ministry, and another given by Fr. Frank Pavone on the Biblical relevance for the ministry. All of this was like God's wonderful surprise for me. I got so much more than I expected. I know my experiences of these 3 days will enhance my role as a team member on future retreats as well as enhance my own spiritual life.
Our Savior's Hand can be found in the most unexpected ways and places. I thank Him for the grace of being able to trust Him a little more.
So how or where have you felt our Lord's touch this week. Post about your God moment or leave it in the comments if you don't have a blog. Feel free to link with Mr. Linky below.
Thanks for sharing and God Bless!

Hello Karinann,
Bless you.
How many blogger friends said they'd pray for my tall son/family while he's in Israel touched me deeply.
Also a God moment would be late last night as I read a new blog. I'll get her name to you later. She had a music video on her sight and it touched me.
Talk toy ou soon,
~D~
